 Что такое референс? Это справка. Справка с работы, которая подтверждает, что ты реально выполнял необходимые операции или исполнял обязанности на протяжении определенного времени. В идеале референс выдаётся отделом кадров на бланке предприятия, но бывают и нюансы. 

Референс может написать и подтвердить коллега, если предприятия уже нет. Главное, чтобы подписавший был готов подтвердить в случае прозвона то, что он подписал.

Самый крутой референс это трудовой договор с работодателем, где перечислены все права и обязанности, зарплата, продолжительность трудового дня и т.д. и справка с места работы о доходах.

Всё это нужно не только получить, но и перевести. Очень важно, чтобы обязанности, указанные в договоре и справке соответствовали тому офферу, который ты ищешь.

They are employed in fruit and vegetable processing plants, dairies, flour mills, bakeries, sugar refineries, meat plants, breweries, and other food and beverage processing establishments.

Main duties

This group performs some or all of the following duties:
Machine operators

Set up and adjust food or beverage processing and packaging machines

Operate single-function machines to grind, extract, mix, blend, dry, freeze, cook or otherwise process food or beverage products

Operate single-function machines to box, can or otherwise package food or beverage products

Check products to ensure conformance to company standards and clear machine blockages as required

Record production information such as quantity, weight, size, date and type of products packaged

Perform corrective machine adjustments, clean machines and immediate work areas.

Employment requirements

Completion of secondary school may be required.

On-the-job training is provided.

Experience as a machine operator in food or beverage processing is usually required for industrial process control operators.

Experience as a labourer in food or beverage processing may be required for machine operators.

Machine operators may progress to process control operation or supervisory positions in food and beverage processing with experience.

Position Summary


As a Machine & Process Operator you will assume responsibility for the quality and overall operation of the process machines as demand requires and to ensure the company’s manufacturing targets are achieved.  Supported by the Department Supervisor you will produce quality products in a safe environment.


Key Responsibilities

The ability to start up equipment prior to beginning of shift and shut down at the end of shift

To ensure all necessary product is available, equipment is set up properly and tools are ready for production.

 Consistently meet expected quality of product by ensuring proper formulations 

To ensure proper processes are followed and make adjustments as necessary.

To follow all cleaning schedules and practices to  adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices

To ensure the quality of product is obtained by following all Standard Operating Procedures and by checking centers and sampling finished product to report to Quality Assurance

Take preventative actions to ensure minimal down time to keep on track with production schedules

Report any maintenance issues to ensure production is not interrupted and to protect the company’s assets

To provide support and communicate to team members by using of good clear communication skills

Troubleshoot problem areas throughout production to minimize downtime, identify process improvement opportunities, report deficiencies on shift and complete necessary shift reports

Follow all safety practices and ensure necessary Proper Protective Equipment (PPE) is worn at all times


  Qualifications

Grade 12 education or equivalent

Good attendance record is a must

Able to work shift work and willing to work overtime as required 

Must be a multi-tasker with a good mechanical aptitude and possess the ability to work well under pressure

Ability to work as a team and can work under minimal supervision if necessary

Understands safety procedures and possess a solid safety background 

Able to problem solve in a systematic manner and possesses good attention to detail

Demonstrate good manufacturing practices and understand the importance of Quality


Machine Operators $14.25/hour (plus shift premiums)
